Data Centre Manager

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Data Centre Manager to lead daily operations at its Toronto facility. You will ensure the data centre runs efficiently, securely, and meets the high‑availability standards expected by our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control daily data centre operations.
• Evaluate, plan, and organise operational activities.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop a team of 5‑10 staff including analysts, engineers, programmers and technicians.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems.
• Authorize development specifications for products or services.
• Manage incidents and ensure rapid resolution.

Required profile

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of management experience in information systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Enhanced reliability security clearance and clean criminal record.
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication, judgement, organisational and teamwork skills.
