Data Auditor

About the role

The Data Auditor joins the Internal Governance & Ethics (IGE) team to acquire, transform, load, analyse and visualise raw data from CACIB’s systems. The role supports risk identification, audit analytics and automation of testing, helping to broaden and accelerate audit coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire data from source systems to support audit analytics and continuous monitoring.
• Contribute to audit planning, analyse data, and propose automation of testing procedures.
• Design, document and build reusable data‑analytics scripts, primarily in Python, to meet audit objectives.
• Collaborate with audit teams to execute testing and provide guidance on data‑driven improvements.
• Publish analytics results, train internal audit teams on interpretation, and expand the library of Python automation scripts.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, knowledge‑sharing activities and global audit projects.
• Maintain an inventory of data tools, code and user guides produced during audits.

Required profile

• Compliance with the CACIB Audit Charter.
• Experience in internal audit or data‑analytics environments.
• Ability to document technical specifications and communicate findings to audit stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python programming for data automation and analytics.
