About the role
The Data Analyst III will partner with finance, business, and technology teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and actionable financial data across reporting and analytics platforms. You will design, build, and maintain code‑based solutions that support recurring and ad‑hoc reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance measurement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support ETL processes to extract, transform, and load financial data into data marts and reporting layers.
- Create and maintain financial reporting and analytical solutions using SQL, Python, and visualization tools.
- Produce, validate, reconcile, and deliver time‑sensitive financial reports while ensuring data integrity.
- Perform data reconciliations across source systems, data marts, and reports, investigating variances and root causes.
- Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into business insights.
- Collaborate with Business, Finance, Technology, and Data Engineering teams to enhance data platforms and pipelines.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Prepare concise dashboards, reports, and presentations for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 2‑4 years of experience in data analytics, financial reporting, or enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data management, and reporting best practices.
- Proven experience performing data reconciliation and validating results prior to release.
- Familiarity with agile tools such as JIRA and version‑control systems like Azure DevOps Repos.
Required skills
- Advanced SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and validation.
- Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Power BI and Tableau for dashboard and visual report creation.
- Python (or similar) for scripting and automation.
- JIRA for story tracking and sprint execution.
- Git‑based repositories (Azure DevOps Repos or similar) for code management.
