Data & AI Transformation Director (Microsoft Practice)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Director, Data & AI Transformation for its Microsoft Practice in Toronto. The role leads large-scale Microsoft-based transformation programs across cloud, data, analytics and artificial intelligence, owns end-to-end delivery, manages executive stakeholder relationships and builds high-performing delivery teams. It is a delivery-first leadership role focused on execution and client outcomes, and follows the departure of a valued team member.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Microsoft Data, AI and Cloud transformation programs, covering scope, budget, governance, risk, quality and delivery success.
• Lead multiple concurrent programs and workstreams, and establish delivery governance, escalation management and executive reporting.
• Deliver solutions using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure AI Services, Microsoft Fabric, enterprise data platforms and modern analytics solutions.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers and other executives, and represent PwC at steering committees and governance reviews.
• Lead geographically distributed teams across Canada, the United States and offshore delivery centres, coordinating vendors, architects and engineers.
• Mentor managers, senior managers, architects and delivery leaders, and contribute to the growth of the Microsoft Data & AI practice.
• Support pursuits, proposals, executive presentations and solution development, and help develop delivery offerings and go-to-market capabilities.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional experience in technology consulting, enterprise transformation, cloud delivery or technology leadership.
• 10+ years leading large-scale enterprise technology programs and delivery organizations.
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft-based transformation programs and extensive experience managing offshore and global delivery teams.
• Demonstrated success managing executive-level stakeholder relationships and steering committees, and leading large multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to own complex budgets, risks, resource plans and program governance, and to lead large client engagements with limited oversight.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and modern Microsoft Data & AI technologies.
• Consulting, stakeholder management and client relationship management.

The salary range is $191,200 - $241,200, with possible variable incentive pay for eligible employees.
