Cybersecurity Project/Program Manager (3‑month contract)

About the role

Dexian is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project/Program Manager to lead governance, portfolio planning, and execution for a 3‑month contract in Toronto. You will work closely with senior executives and business units to translate strategic goals into actionable plans and ensure transparent reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and reporting structures for cybersecurity initiatives.
• Lead portfolio planning, establish cadence, manage inter‑dependencies, mitigate risks, and optimise resource allocation.
• Translate team objectives into detailed project plans, monitor progress, and adjust strategies to align with long‑term goals.
• Create executive‑ready dashboards and presentation materials that communicate progress, insights, and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders to influence outcomes and ensure strategic priorities are understood.
• Provide thought leadership, incorporate emerging trends and regulatory changes, and evolve strategies accordingly.
• Conduct analysis to recommend capability enhancements, drive efficiencies, and support sustainable growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience managing cybersecurity programs or projects.
• Proven ability to develop business cases and financial models.
• Post‑secondary education (degree or diploma) in a relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
