Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be the primary point of contact for incoming calls and inquiries, handling order entry, providing product information, and generating sales leads. This role is essential to delivering a positive customer experience and supporting the growth of FSS.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails professionally, maintaining a courteous and empathetic attitude.
• Enter customer orders into the system, confirm back‑orders, coordinate shipping with the warehouse, and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Provide timely information on order status, product details, and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Maintain and update customer records, draft status reports, and assist with data entry and research to troubleshoot problems.
• Support inventory counts when needed and perform any additional tasks required to promote business objectives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with M@GIC and ERP systems (preferred).
