Customer Service Representative

About the role

Propel is a fast‑growing fintech company that uses AI to expand credit access for underserved consumers. As a Customer Service Representative you will be the first point of contact for applicants, guiding them through online loan applications and fund transfers while delivering a high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls across multiple loan portfolios.
• Use web‑based tools to investigate, verify, and process customer information.
• Answer customer questions accurately and promptly, providing clear next steps.
• Communicate appropriate actions in a friendly, professional manner.
• Build confidence in Propel’s services as a subject‑matter expert.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and collective targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service or call‑center experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle escalated calls.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage high call volumes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable using internet‑based platforms and web applications.
