Customer Service Manager

About the role

The Customer Service Manager leads the front‑end team at a Walmart store, ensuring a safe, efficient and friendly shopping experience. This role coordinates daily operations, trains associates, and upholds company standards for service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce safe work processes, emergency procedures and store cleanliness.
• Address customer and associate concerns, providing guidance and resolutions.
• Monitor front‑end staffing, manage break schedules and support registers as needed.
• Train associates on systems, scanning accuracy, discounts, EAS and safety protocols.
• Oversee purchase, return and exchange transactions, approve corrections and verify compliance.
• Maintain EAS system functionality and complete related logs.
• Prepare registers for opening and closing, manage cash levels and perform register audits.
• Promote company sponsor programs such as credit cards, protection plans and charitable initiatives.

Required profile

• Age 16 or older.

Required skills

• EAS system operation.
• POS (point‑of‑sale) system usage.
• Cash handling and register management.
