About the role
The National Collaborating Center for Environmental Health is seeking a Curriculum Development Lead to design a series of online environmental health training modules for Community Health Representatives serving First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities. The role focuses on creating engaging, one‑hour learning experiences that address food safety, water quality, air quality, chemicals, indoor environments and related topics.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop ten online training modules, including videos, podcasts, reading materials and quizzes.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure scientific accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Manage project timelines, set milestones and monitor progress to meet delivery dates.
- Coordinate with the NCCEH manager, senior scientist and environmental health scientists to align content with program goals.
- Oversee quality assurance, testing and final publishing of modules on the learning platform.
Required profile
- Experience in curriculum or instructional design, preferably for health‑related topics.
- Familiarity with Indigenous health contexts and community‑based education.
- Strong project‑management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written communication and ability to translate technical information into learner‑friendly formats.
