About the role
The Department of Economics at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer to teach ECON 208-001 Microeconomic Analysis and Applications during the Winter 2027 term. The course introduces demand and supply, consumer behaviour, production theory, market structures and income distribution theory. Lectures will be delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:35 pm to 3:55 pm, January 5 – April 14 2027, in room STBIO S1/4.
Required profile
- Doctoral level study in Economics, including completed comprehensive examinations for the PhD, or a completed PhD degree in Economics.
- Evidence of highly effective teaching ability or superior communication skills and potential for teaching excellence.
- Specialization should be as close as possible to the subject matter of the course.
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is considered an asset.
