About the role

The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University seeks a qualified Course Lecturer to teach the Information Systems course MGCR 620 025 during the Fall 2026 term. The position involves delivering two weekly sessions and assessing student performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:05 to 20:55.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and examinations aligned with the curriculum.
• Provide timely feedback and grades for a total of 19.5 class hours.
• Maintain office hours for student consultations.
• Collaborate with faculty on course improvements and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Relevant professional or research experience in IT/IS, with a preference for candidates holding a business‑school degree in the discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level or equivalent instructional experience.
• Industry experience in IT management is desirable.
