Course Lecturer – Heritage Conservation (ARCH 536) – Winter 2027

About the role

The Peter Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for the Heritage Conservation course (ARCH 536) for the Winter 2027 term. The role involves delivering two‑hour lectures each Tuesday and guiding students through the theoretical and practical aspects of heritage conservation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver weekly lectures for ARCH 536 (09:05 am – 11:55 am).
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessment criteria aligned with the curriculum.
• Provide academic support and feedback to undergraduate architecture students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Advanced academic degree (M.Arch. or equivalent) relevant to heritage conservation.
• Demonstrated post‑secondary teaching experience in architecture.
• Strong technical, critical, and theoretical expertise in heritage conservation.
