Course Lecturer – FMTP 088 French Reinforcement

About the role

McGill University is seeking a qualified Course Lecturer to teach FMTP 088 Renforcement en français during the Fall 2026 term. The position involves delivering two weekly lecture sessions and participating in final exam grading.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures on Wednesdays (1:30‑3:30 pm) and Thursdays (12:30‑2:30 pm).
• Prepare and present course materials in French for second‑language learners.
• Be available for scheduled final exams and grade them according to university standards.
• Engage with students through presentations, workshops, or related professional activities as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in French or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior college‑level teaching experience with French second‑language courses (101 level preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to teach the same course at least twice, meeting the university’s Teaching Qualification Requirements.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
