Course Lecturer – Fashion Retail Management

About the role

The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer to teach the Fashion Retail Management course (RETL 641 095) in the Fall 2026 term. The position runs from August 31 to December 4, 2026, with three credit hours and a total of 39 class hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and lead classroom discussions on fashion, luxury, and beauty retailing.
• Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi, presentations, and reading lists.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Provide academic guidance and feedback to students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (required).
• Academic research experience in fashion retailing or industry experience in fashion, luxury, and/or beauty retailing.
• Prior teaching experience in related topics is a strong plus.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of fashion retail management.
• Ability to convey complex concepts to undergraduate students.
