About the role

This role is a Course Lecturer for CGMG 305, “Managing in Public and Non-Profit Organizations,” at McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies, Indigenous Relations Initiative. The instructor will deliver comprehensive content covering governance, community services, community systems, management versus leadership styles, strategic versus operational planning, and will emphasize financial and human resource management. The course aims to equip learners with the knowledge, competencies and aptitudes needed to lead both private businesses and not‑for‑profit organizations. Lectures will be delivered on campus in Montreal and will be conducted in English. The position requires coordination with the Indigenous Relations Initiative to ensure culturally appropriate teaching methods and engagement with Indigenous learners.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Experience teaching First Nations, Inuit and Métis learners.
• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
