Course Lecturer – Applied Corporate Finance

About the role

The Desautels Faculty of Management seeks a qualified Course Lecturer to teach Applied Corporate Finance (FINE 443 004) in the Fall 2026 term. The position involves delivering lectures, guiding discussions, and assessing student performance for a 3‑credit course.

Key responsibilities

• Teach two weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:05 to 17:25 in the Bronfman Building.
• Prepare and deliver course materials covering corporate finance concepts.
• Evaluate student work, including assignments, exams, and participation.
• Maintain office hours and provide academic support to students.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance or a graduate degree with significant professional experience in a relevant finance role.
• At least five years of work experience directly related to corporate finance, or equivalent teaching experience at a reputable institution.
• Demonstrated strong track record in teaching or comparable instructional skills.
