Corporate Communications Intern

About the role

Lactalis Canada is looking for a motivated Corporate Communications Intern to support both internal and external communication initiatives. You will gain hands‑on experience in employee engagement, event management, multimedia content creation, social media, media relations, community relations, and strategic storytelling while working closely with the Corporate Communications team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and proofread communications materials such as announcements, social media posts, press releases, and presentations.
• Manage a new Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) by organizing, tagging, and categorizing assets to improve searchability.
• Assist with employee communications, including content creation and management of internal platforms like Viva Engage and digital screens.
• Support media and public relations activities as needed.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Experience or familiarity with Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS).
• Proficiency in using Viva Engage for internal communications.
• Comfort with social media platforms for content distribution.
