About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at Restaurant St‑Hubert in Amos. The role involves preparing high‑quality meals, supporting special events, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate special events, buffets and banquets, determining portion sizes and costs.
- Plan menus, estimate food requirements and requisition supplies.
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and specialized meals for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas, maintain inventory records, and order supplies and equipment.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques and safe handling practices.
- Manage overall kitchen operations, including cleaning work areas and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
