About the role
We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our team at Alexandra’s Pizza in Halifax. You will work in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, preparing dishes and supporting kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate special events and manage kitchen logistics.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory records.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Dependable, flexible and reliable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
