About the role
We are seeking a motivated Cook to join our kitchen team at BEAUX DADDY'S in Thunder Bay. The role involves preparing and cooking meals, managing inventory, and supporting a welcoming environment for youth employees.
Key responsibilities
- Determine portion sizes and associated costs.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including options for allergies and intolerances.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of kitchen experience.
- Participation in youth employment programs and willingness to receive on‑the‑job training.
- Commitment to creating a welcoming work environment for youth.
