Controller / Senior Controller

About the role

Embrace Software is seeking a remote Controller or Senior Controller to lead accounting and consolidation for multiple entities across the US, Canada, UK, and India. Reporting to the SVP Finance, you will ensure accurate financial results, support budgeting, and drive system implementations for new acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements in USD, CAD, GBP, and INR.
• Maintain intercompany eliminations, management fee allocations, and transfer‑pricing adjustments.
• Oversee full‑cycle accounting for shared‑service entities, including A/R, A/P, payroll, accruals, and month‑end close.
• Manage GST/HST/PST filings and indirect tax compliance for Canadian entities.
• Support Embrace HQ’s annual and quarterly budgeting processes and variance analysis.
• Lead ERP (NetSuite) implementation and financial integration for newly acquired businesses.
• Develop automation tools, consolidated dashboards, and documented accounting procedures.

Required profile

• CPA or equivalent professional designation.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with multi‑entity consolidation.
• Hands‑on experience in multi‑currency reporting, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing.
• Knowledge of IFRS and experience in SaaS or technology companies.
