Controller

About the role

The Controller will oversee and manage full‑cycle accounting and financial operations across multiple domestic and international entities. This role ensures timely, accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and provides insightful analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑cycle accounting processes including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, product costing and inventory accounting.
• Consolidate financial results of multiple operating and holding companies and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Manage the monthly close, reconciliations and variance analysis to explain performance.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory counts and related valuation processes.
• Oversee payroll processing, year‑end procedures and related controls.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with ASPE, statutory filing requirements and support external audits.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a Controller or senior financial management role.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
