Controller – Finance

About the role

Alimentiv is seeking a Controller to provide strategic and operational leadership over its accounting function. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and robust accounting processes across a multi‑entity global structure.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations, journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Review and sign off on all financial data produced by the accounting team, correcting discrepancies before distribution.
• Lead the preparation of audit‑ready financial statements and supporting schedules for regulatory and governance purposes.
• Monitor close timelines, identify bottlenecks and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Serve as functional owner of the ERP platform, responsible for system administration, configuration and continuous improvement.
• Manage end‑to‑end payables, receivables and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing the full accounting cycle in a multi‑entity, global environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.
• Experience acting as the primary owner of an ERP system.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
