Controller – Accounting & Financial Reporting

About the role

Alimentiv is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across a complex, multi‑entity global structure. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the full accounting cycle and act as the functional owner of the ERP platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, including consolidations, journal entries, reconciliations and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Review and sign off on financial data prepared by the accounting team, resolving discrepancies before distribution.
• Lead the preparation of audit, regulatory and governance schedules and ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements.
• Monitor close timelines, address bottlenecks and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Own the ERP system, handling administration, configuration, and continuous improvement to support accounting operations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end management of payables, receivables and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting operations and financial reporting within a multi‑entity, global organization.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Proven ability to lead an accounting team and manage complex close cycles.
• Experience acting as an ERP functional owner or system administrator.
