Contracts Coordinator

About the role

The Contracts Coordinator will play a central role in managing contractual agreements for ACCIONA's large‑scale infrastructure projects in Ontario. This position ensures that contracts are administered efficiently, risks are mitigated, and all parties collaborate effectively to meet project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all contractual agreements between the project owner, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, liabilities, and exposures.
• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring performance, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of contractual obligations and adherence to schedules.
• Draft, review, and execute contracts in line with project requirements and legal standards.
• Maintain compliance with contractual terms, legal requirements, and construction industry regulations.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts, including key terms, expiration dates, and renewal options.
• Prepare and issue formal correspondence to stakeholders, contractors, and clients.
• Process change orders, variations, and amendments, assessing impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration and management within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to construction contracts.
• Ability to assess and mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with diverse project stakeholders.
