Contract Specialist – Temporary Legal Support

About the role

Join a fast‑paced, globally recognized organization as a Temporary Legal Support and Contracts Specialist. You will support the North American legal function, managing contract lifecycles and vendor agreements while working fully remote from Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the legal team inbox and internal ticketing system, triaging and escalating requests.
• Administer the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, including troubleshooting, reporting, and maintaining contract records.
• Review, triage, and support negotiations of vendor and supplier agreements.
• Update contract templates and flag non‑standard legal terms.
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.
• Support legal operations such as calendar coordination, insurance renewals, and other administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of corporate legal contracting experience, or equivalent.
• Proven experience reviewing and revising vendor and supplier contracts.
• Strong organizational, analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships.
• Proactive, independent work style with appropriate escalation of issues.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
• Experience in staffing, consulting or fast‑paced professional‑services environments is a plus.
