Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

Rubicon Organics is looking for a motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead operational optimization across its manufacturing and processing facilities. You will work hands‑on with production teams to boost throughput, reduce waste, and enhance consistency in a high‑throughput, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, packaging, processing, and facility operations.
• Identify bottlenecks, downtime drivers, and process variability; implement solutions to improve OEE, yield, labor efficiency, and material utilization.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies to drive performance gains.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with operators, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to embed sustainable changes.
• Support SOP development, visual management, and process standardization.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPI tracking tools, and performance reporting systems.
• Identify cost‑reduction and value‑engineering opportunities; build business cases and ROI analyses for capital investments.
