Consultant – Group Benefits & Retirement Solutions

About the role

Owen & Associates is seeking a Consultant to advise Canadian organisations on group benefit and retirement programs. This fully remote, full‑time position allows you to focus on strategic client management without sales pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients, delivering strategic guidance on group benefits and retirement plans.
• Analyze claims data and plan performance to identify cost‑control opportunities and enhance member value.
• Lead quarterly reviews, annual planning sessions, and renewal processes, providing actionable recommendations.
• Develop customized solutions, client‑facing materials, and market insights to support strategic decision‑making.
• Support plan implementations and ensure smooth transitions for new or updated programs.

Required profile

• Strong background in Canadian group benefits and retirement solutions.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver advisory services.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to the Ontario head office 2–3 times per year.
