Construction Superintendent – Water/Wastewater Projects

About the role

Industra Construction Corp. is expanding its Ontario footprint and seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead major water, wastewater and heavy civil infrastructure projects at remote sites. You will own project delivery from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors and internal crews to maintain productivity and schedule adherence.
• Apply deep knowledge of sewerage pump‑station construction, managing shutdowns, tie‑ins and complex sequencing activities.
• Develop short‑term schedules (e.g., three‑week look‑aheads) and proactively resolve conflicts, delays and site constraints.
• Champion safety protocols in high‑risk wastewater environments and enforce quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with client representatives, plant operators and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Prepare daily reports, RFIs and site documentation using Procore software and support inspection coordination.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction experience, with senior foreman or superintendent responsibilities.
• Extensive hands‑on experience on wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and sewerage pump stations.
• Proven ability to manage complex scopes, shutdowns and tie‑ins within active facilities.
• Red Seal or equivalent trade certification.
