Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing overall operations on the construction site. They must identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure worker safety. The role also requires communicating project milestones to clients and stakeholders and developing and managing a timeline for project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and materials to maintain timely progress.
• Prepare and update schedules, track site progress, and generate reports.
• Conduct regular inspections and address deficiencies, including minor handyman tasks.
• Communicate updates to clients and stakeholders and address concerns.
• Ensure all permits, safety protocols, and legal regulations are followed.
• Lead and mentor site teams to promote collaboration and excellence.
• Oversee site close‑out, including cleanup, final inspections, and documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor on restaurant, retail, commercial or industrial new building construction.
• Willingness to perform hands‑on tasks such as hammering or drilling.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and complying with regulations.
• Prepare schedules, work progress reports, and production documentation.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Coordinate trades and material scheduling with the Project Manager.
• Track and resolve deficiencies promptly, including minor repairs.
• Take responsibility for success and failure, deliver excellence, and find solutions to obstacles.
