Construction Manager – Tunnels & Elevated Guideways

About the role

The Tunnels & Elevated Guideway Construction Manager will lead the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of tunnelling and elevated guideway works on major rail transit projects for Trillium Rail Partners. This position sits within a design‑build / public‑private partnership environment and supports ACCIONA’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end construction leadership for complex civil and structural scopes, including tunnelling operations, underground structures, foundations, piers and elevated superstructures.
• Coordinate multiple work fronts and disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design‑build activities.
• Manage health, safety and environmental compliance across all construction sites.
• Monitor schedule, cost and quality performance, reporting progress to senior project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, procurement and operations teams to resolve technical issues and optimise construction methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale rail or transit infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of tunnelling techniques, underground structure construction, and elevated guideway systems.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, design‑build environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
