Construction Manager

About the role

BPA is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead its construction services team across Canada. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, technical direction, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise three Construction Administrators, managing performance, development and workload balance.
• Allocate resources across projects, track hours, forecasting, scheduling and productivity metrics.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training and performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and OHS standards.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and ERP data validation.
• Maintain client satisfaction through proactive communication and service quality monitoring.
• Identify new business opportunities, support proposal development and contribute to annual business planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in construction management or related engineering fields.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
• Commitment to health, safety and regulatory compliance.
