Site Technician – Construction Project Support

About the role

Join a dynamic construction team where you will support the superintendent and project manager throughout all phases of a building project. The role focuses on coordinating documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring quality standards are met on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shop drawings and coordinate with subcontractors and professionals.
• Handle QRTs in collaboration with the project team.
• Attend site meetings and update tasks in the project‑management platform.
• Create and maintain site contacts within the management system.
• Track plan revisions and distribute relevant documents to stakeholders.
• Capture daily site photos for reporting purposes.
• Participate in pre‑wall closure inspections and final site inspections.
• Monitor and follow up on deficiencies identified by the construction team and external professionals.
• Administer compliance and quality‑control forms.
• Maintain the concrete pour log together with the superintendent.
• Keep the printed MS Project schedule current.
• Document information related to potential claims such as retroactive billing.
• Assist the superintendent with various administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage priorities across multiple tasks.
• Excellent coordination skills to support both the superintendent and project manager.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project for schedule management.
• Experience using project‑management platforms for task tracking and documentation.
