Construction Manager – 6‑Month Contract (Potential Extension)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead medium‑sized projects of moderate to high complexity. This 6‑month contract position (with a strong possibility of extension) will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of employees, consultants, and contractors.
• Oversee consultant and contractor performance while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Support and promote safety, environmental, and corporate compliance programs across all project activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, field personnel, and contractors to drive project success.
• Develop and implement construction programs, contractor safety initiatives, and high‑risk work controls.
• Facilitate construction management forums, onboarding programs, training sessions, and contractor workshops.
• Identify process gaps and work with leadership to develop solutions.
• Monitor project performance and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management experience in construction or capital project environments.
• Solid understanding of safety standards, regulations, and construction best practices.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and consultants.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
