About the role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Installer to join our team in Winnipeg, handling both residential and commercial projects. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Install and repair domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and pipe sizing.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, cut openings in walls and floors, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding.
• Test installed pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Estimate material requirements and costs for projects.

Required profile

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Prior experience in plumbing installation or repair is an asset.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Pipe cutting, threading, bending, and sizing.
• Soldering, brazing, and welding of pipe joints.
• Leak testing using pressure gauges.
• Estimating material quantities and costs.
