Construction Coordinator (Project Management)

About the role

The Construction Coordinator supports the Project Manager to ensure that interior and new‑build construction projects run smoothly. You will act as the central hub for schedules, resources, communication, and documentation across internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, communicating project status to all participants.
• Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers and delegate tasks to other departments.
• Help prepare budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Break projects into actionable steps, set timeframes and analyse risk opportunities.
• Issue legal paperwork such as contracts and terms of agreement.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Monitor project progress, handle issues, and oversee procurement management.
• Use tools to track working hours, plans and expenditures.
• Conduct quality‑assurance tests to ensure standards and requirements are met.
• Liaise with clients to define requirements, scope and objectives.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Ability to support a Project Manager and act as a point of contact for multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, resources and documentation.
• Experience preparing budgets and identifying cost‑reduction measures.
• Capability to analyse risks, break projects into actionable tasks and monitor progress.
• Familiarity with legal paperwork such as contracts and agreements.
• Competence in overseeing procurement and quality‑assurance activities.
