Compliance Co‑op/Internship – Winter/Summer 2027

About the role

Are you passionate about ensuring ethical business practices and protecting organizational integrity? BCI is looking for a Compliance co‑op/intern for the Winter 2027 term (January‑April) or a combined Winter and Summer 2027 term (January‑August) to support the Compliance team in maintaining regulatory adherence and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of Compliance personnel on various projects, including investment pooled‑fund monitoring.
• Conduct personal‑trading reconciliations and conflict‑of‑interest screening.
• Assist in documenting current and new compliance monitoring procedures.
• Research ad‑hoc topics and complete tasks assigned by the team.
• Help improve the Compliance program using existing technology solutions and develop enhancements such as dashboards.

Required profile

• Dedication to hard work, high ethical standards and eagerness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of business and investments with an interest in investment management.
• Clear oral and written communication skills and ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg.
• Experience using AI tools such as Co‑Pilot, ChatGPT and Claude.
