Community Navigator – Events Manager

About the role

The Community Navigator will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high‑impact events that bring together donors, volunteers, corporate partners and community leaders. Working within United Way’s mission‑driven environment, the role ensures every event reflects the organization’s brand, values and measurable community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage end‑to‑end event strategies that align with United Way’s objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments to secure resources, venues, and logistics.
• Engage and cultivate relationships with donors, volunteers, corporate partners and community stakeholders.
• Monitor event budgets, timelines and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
• Prepare post‑event reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Proven experience in coordinating large‑scale events or community programs.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
