Community Leasing Agent – New Graduate Program

About the role

The New Graduate Community Leasing Agent position is a full‑time, permanent role based in Ottawa. You will start on the Leasing team, gaining hands‑on experience with resident interactions, market analysis and the operational drivers of real‑estate performance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, web and in‑person with professionalism and urgency.
• Build rapport with prospective residents, understand their needs and recommend suitable portfolio options.
• Conduct engaging virtual and in‑person tours, showcasing product knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Guide prospects through the complete leasing process from initial contact to move‑in.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and property‑management systems while collaborating with Operations and Leasing Coordinators.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity and resident data to provide insights that inform pricing and strategy.
• Partner with Marketing to keep listings and promotional materials current.
• Support leasing performance reporting and data analysis, and gain exposure to the legal and regulatory framework governing residential leasing in Canada.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field.
• Analytical, results‑oriented and able to connect effort to outcomes.
• Strong communicator who builds authentic relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Team‑player who collaborates with Operations and Leasing teams.
• Resilient, growth‑mindset and committed to delivering high‑quality service.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

• Salary range $45,000‑$48,000 CAD annually plus uncapped commission.
