Communications Officer (Non-Emergency Services)

About the role

The organization is seeking a Communications Officer to lead non‑emergency communications initiatives. This full‑time position supports community‑focused publicity, marketing, and outreach efforts within a non‑profit environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate special publicity events and promotional campaigns.
• Gather, research, and prepare communications material.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with community goals.
• Write and edit press releases, newsletters, and other communications assets.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in community service or non‑profit communications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility, initiative, organization, and reliability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English communication (both oral and written).
• Ability to produce clear, engaging written content for diverse audiences.
