Communication Service Department Manager

About the role

Centre Electric & Technology is looking for a Communication Service Department Manager to lead its Communications Service team. Reporting to the Technology Division Manager, you will oversee daily service operations, manage field technicians, and ensure high‑quality delivery of structured cabling and low‑voltage communication projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily service department activities, including scheduling, dispatching, and project execution.
• Conduct monthly service van audits and coordinate with the scheduling department on work orders.
• Develop and implement SOPs to improve workflow, productivity, and profitability.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate electricians, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Lead weekly/monthly department meetings and foster a safety‑first culture.
• Serve as primary contact for key service clients, build relationships, and resolve customer concerns.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing service teams in a structured cabling or low‑voltage environment.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and customer‑service best practices.
• Ability to analyze job progress, costs, and performance metrics to drive profitability.
