Telecommunications Advisor

About the role

We're building our Burnaby telecommunications team with people who bring strong communication skills, curiosity, and a genuine interest in working with customers. As a Telecommunications Advisor, you'll receive hands‑on training while building experience in customer communications, sales, and service within one of Canada’s most established industries.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with customers and prospective clients to understand their current services and needs.
• Explain Internet, TV, home phone, and mobile plans, features, promotions, and eligibility clearly.
• Recommend options based on each customer’s connectivity needs, lifestyle, and budget.
• Complete service enrollments accurately and maintain organized customer records.
• Manage customer inquiries and follow‑ups throughout the day.
• Participate in daily team meetings covering goals, product updates, promotions, and training.
• Follow up with customers after enrollment to ensure a positive experience.

Required profile

• Enjoy meeting and talking with new people.
• Communicate clearly and confidently.
• Learn quickly and feel comfortable asking questions.
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage your day.
• Positive attitude and openness to feedback and coaching.
• Interest in developing customer service, communication, and sales skills.
• Available to work full‑time.
• Previous experience in customer‑facing roles is an asset but not required.
