Commercial Strategy Consultant, Life Sciences

About the role

This client‑facing consulting position supports pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations in Canada. You will act as a trusted advisor, turning complex commercial challenges into data‑driven recommendations that shape go‑to‑market and HCP engagement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client engagements using a hypothesis‑driven approach.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on market sizing, segmentation, brand strategy and commercial effectiveness.
• Leverage prescribing and claims datasets (e.g., NBRx, TRx) to generate insights on brand performance and HCP targeting.
• Support launch planning, competitive intelligence and commercial optimization initiatives.
• Design and deliver executive‑level presentations and strategic briefings.
• Assess client data maturity and recommend tailored, AI‑enabled solutions.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks and stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy or client‑facing analytics, preferably in life sciences, pharma or healthcare.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations, including brand strategy, launch planning and market access.
• Proven ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and develop rigorous analytical approaches.
• Experience working with healthcare and prescribing datasets and interpreting commercial performance metrics.
