Commercial Coordinator

About the role

The Commercial Coordinator is responsible for managing contractual agreements and overseeing contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures effective communication among stakeholders, mitigates contractual risks, and guarantees compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all contractual agreements between the project owner, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks that could affect project outcomes.
• Supervise contract administration, monitor performance, track milestones, and manage deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of contractual obligations and adherence to schedules.
• Ensure contracts are accurately drafted, reviewed, and executed in line with project requirements and legal standards.
• Maintain compliance with contractual terms, legal requirements, and construction industry regulations.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts, including key terms, expiration dates, and renewal options.
• Prepare, review, and issue formal correspondence to stakeholders, contractors, and clients.
• Process and manage change orders, variations, and amendments to existing contracts.
• Review proposed changes, assess impact on scope, schedule, and budget, and negotiate terms with relevant parties.

Required profile

• Experience in contract administration within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and risk‑assessment abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
