About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cloth Sorter to join our team at Hamdani Textiles Ltd in St. Catharines. The role involves inspecting, grading, and sorting fabric products to ensure they meet quality standards while supporting our environmentally‑positive manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Examine fabrics and finished products for conformity to quality standards.
- Grade and inspect items, measuring or weighing them as required.
- Package products, prepare samples, and record inspection data.
- Sort items by style, colour, size, length or other criteria.
- Measure or weigh products and document findings.
- Maintain accurate records of inspected and graded products.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in textile inspection or a related field.
- Ability to distinguish between colours and pay close attention to detail.
- Strong hand‑eye coordination and capacity to perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and work morning or day shifts.
- Team‑player attitude with a commitment to green‑job practices.
- Clear criminal‑record check and reliable attendance.
