Cleaning Operations Manager – Lead & Grow Teams

About the role

Provincial Property Management is growing and seeks an experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to lead and expand commercial cleaning operations across Prince Edward Island. This role is ideal for someone with extensive cleaning industry experience who wants to move into a leadership position.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and lead a team of cleaners across PEI.
• Schedule staff and ensure all facilities are properly staffed.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality‑control checks.
• Establish and maintain high cleaning standards and procedures.
• Manage supplies, equipment and inventory.
• Coordinate with property managers, clients and facility representatives.
• Respond quickly and professionally to client concerns.
• Manage employee performance, attendance and accountability.
• Develop efficient cleaning processes and improve productivity.
• Ensure healthcare and commercial facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
• Help grow the cleaning division as the company expands.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on commercial cleaning experience.
• Experience supervising or managing a team of cleaners.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple locations and employees.
• Strong communicator able to build positive relationships with employees and clients.
• Willingness to travel across PEI and visit properties.
• Hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude with focus on consistency and detail.
