Cleaner Supervisor

About the role

The Cleaner Supervisor will lead a team of cleaning professionals across a variety of commercial environments, ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness and service quality. This full‑time, permanent position is based in Richmond, BC and reports to facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train and schedule cleaning staff.
• Supervise daily cleaning activities and coordinate with other departments.
• Inspect sites to verify compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates and recommend additional services such as painting or repairs.
• Assist cleaners with tasks when needed and handle payment for specialized jobs.
• Maintain work schedules and ensure timely completion of assignments.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in commercial cleaning or related field.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Strong dependability, initiative and good judgment.
• Effective interpersonal skills and flexibility to work various shifts.
