Cleaner – Property Management

About the role

Realstar is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain the appearance and hygiene of its residential properties across Canada. You will work directly with residents and the property management team to ensure all common areas, vacant units, and exterior spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize common areas such as foyers, amenity rooms, parking garages, locker rooms, patios, and rooftops.
• Prepare vacant units for new occupants by thoroughly cleaning appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow WHMIS guidelines.
• Perform yard maintenance, including garbage pickup, snow removal, and salting of walkways.
• Carry out minor repairs (light fixtures, vents, filters, plumbing fixtures) and maintain garbage chutes and recycling rooms.
• Provide friendly customer service, respond to resident requests within 24 hours, and assist with resident events.
• Support office tasks such as processing applications, creating notices, and managing lease renewals.

Required profile

• Previous professional cleaning experience.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb (e.g., garbage bins, appliances).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional interaction with residents and contractors.
• Fluent in English; French required for Quebec locations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and WHMIS certification.
