Class 1 Heavy Fleet Tractor & Trailer Driver

About the role

Geotech Drilling, a member of the ConeTec Group, is looking for a reliable Class 1 Heavy Fleet Tractor & Trailer Driver to support its field operations in Prince George. The role involves transporting equipment safely and efficiently to project sites while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 tractor‑trailer units and other company vehicles safely.
• Load, secure, transport, and off‑load equipment, materials, and supplies in compliance with transportation regulations.
• Perform and document pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete daily logbooks, vehicle inspection reports, and shipping documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading using hand tools as required.
• Support fleet and operations teams in logistics and project execution.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and promptly report any defects or maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with Air Brake endorsement.
• Clean driver’s abstract and a strong safety record.
• Experience operating heavy‑fleet tractor‑trailer units.
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and National Safety Code requirements.
