Civil Design Engineer (EIT) – Squamish

About the role

Binnie is seeking a Civil Design Engineer (EIT) to join its Development Squamish Division, delivering municipal infrastructure, multi‑family housing, and commercial projects in the Sea to Sky region. The role involves design work from concept through detailed design and construction, with mentorship from experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D.
• Perform design work in consultation with the Engineer of Record.
• Prepare reports, manuals, technical memorandums, proposals and fee estimates.
• Ensure quality control per Binnie’s Organizational Quality Management policy.
• Conduct site inspections as needed.

Required profile

• Completed Civil Engineering degree and registration as an EIT with EGBC.
• Minimum two years of professional engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle preferred.
• Strong written communication and time‑management skills.
